I was born in Rochdale in 1964 with my twin sister. A year later the family moved to Australia, where we had a childhood of sunshine, light and warmth.
In 1971 we made our way back to England on a boat, which took six weeks of travels, visiting New Zealand, Panama Canal, Tahiti and Africa. I remember arriving in England and thinking how cold and dirty it was, everything seemed to be in black and white.
In 1982 I bought a camera Ricoh KR10 and visited a greek island of Kephalonia shooting 3 rolls of Black and White film, thats how it all started.
Since then I have gained a BA Honns, had my first exhibition in New York, talked to Terry Oneil, David Bailey, Don McCullin and George Tyce. I have a book "Made in the North" published and have 5 portraits in The National Portrait Gallery, London, permanent collection.
If you would like to talk about Commission Work, Portraits taken or Corporate work then please don't hesitate to contact me, looking forward to photographing you soon,
